Allie Fay is a lifelong equestrian and habitual tack enabler.

Allie grew up in the seemingly isolated area of Northern New England, and often experienced the hardship of finding high-end, yet affordable products for herself and her horses as the result. In her role as a Master Saddler's Association Saddle Fitter, Allie discovered that clients all over New England were faced with similar issues. Allie formed Mountain Creek Saddlery which later evolved into River Valley Ranch; a property spanning 160+ acres of river bottom land in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom and expanding from saddle fitting and tack sales. The brands we carry have been hand-picked just for you. Too often, we find that we are stuck between comfort, quality, and affordability. With RVR, we hope that you will find that you can have it all, and then some! Christopher Fay has lived on this very property since 1984, and has dedicated his life to animal husbandry. Christopher worked alongside his lovely parents as an operator of his family's dairy farm, then known as Connecticut River Valley View Farm, until he eventually purchased the farm and continued dairy operations through its close from the industry in 2023. While dairy no longer remains the focus of the property, Christopher has applied his lifelong skills and knowledge in the industry to his growing beef herd, as well as quality hay and forage production. Christopher continues to explore other avenues of involvement in the farming and agriculture industry, and hopes to expand his offerings very soon.

Allie and Chris reside in Northern Vermont with their three daughters as well as a small farm of horses, cows, goats, dogs, and the occasional appearance of a very elusive barn cat.
